Services Overview

Services Overview (Oldham)

Supported Living

24 hour support provided within shared accommodations. There are currently four (4) supported living tenancies that we work at. Between 3 and four people live in these properties which are usually purpose built or adapted bungalows.

Individual Service

People live on their own with structured (individually tailored) support hours. We provide this service to seven (7) people.

Community Support Service

We provide support to 23 people living within their own homes, some with carers/family members and some people that are living independently. Support is provided based upon a support plan that identifies where support is needed.

Re-ablement Service

This is a new service in Oldham network and it will enable people to live independently. It is a 6 to 8 weeks in depth assessment period that identifies how the person can be supported to live an independent life.

Community Based Activities

We have recently started to facilitate some activities at the Springhead Community Centre. Every Friday, a group of people is meeting for two hours using the first hour to learn how to play different musical instruments/art and craft and for the second hour, they are keeping fit and having fun at the same time by doing Chairaerobics. These activities are open to the wide community and it is a fantastic opportunity to meet people and maybe make new friends.
