Wednesday 16th October was Restart a Heart Day and as part of it Imagine Act and Succeed's First Aid training team in partnership with Urmston Group Medical Practice were offering free CPR training to the local community in Flixton
Did you know that without receiving CPR the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest are zero? Amy and Colleen from IAS spent the day at Urmston Group Practice training people on how to give life saving CPR.
Colleen said "it was a great success and we trained over 50 people in the basics of CPR. We got talking to alot more on top of that and it was great meeting so many local people"
We hope to be able to be part of Restart a Heart Day again next year, and be able to run similar sessions at other times too
